Thames Water has introduced a hosepipe ban, which came into effect on 22/07/2025 for areas including Wantage and surrounding communities with OX postcodes.
Under the current restrictions, residents are asked not to use:

Sprinklers

Jet washers
These restrictions help ensure water remains available for essential needs such as drinking, cooking, and hygiene. Please continue to use water as needed to stay healthy and hydrated during the hot weather.
Please note: Non-compliance with the hosepipe ban can result in a fine of up to £1,000.
